A while ago, I switched from the Amplifire to a Kemper. Never looked back.

Too much to post my various rigs, however, my main gigging rig is:

Guitar > TS808 > 3-4 Various pedals that are always changing > 1984 JCM 800 2204 > 1985 Jcm800 1960B Cab with G12T-75's

At home (depending on time of day, who's home etc.) it's either JMP-1 or ADA MP-1 > Peavey Classic 60/60 Power amp or BIAS FX.

I keep my setup stupid simple. I currently run 3 setups.

A) 2006 Mesa Dual rec and 4x12 cab on dirty ch with an eq and ts808.

B) Peavey XXL with XXX 4x12. Dirty ch with ts808.

C) By far my best. Guitar run strait in a boss me-33 and directly into a Tascam DP02CF 8 track. Pan hard right/left stereo into a set of studio monitors.

Interesting thread! I'm running into a 65 Amps Lil Elvis most of the time, with an EQ and Delay in the loop. Straight into the front end with the guitar most days, occasionally will use the drive pedal of the day when the mood strikes.

Also using a Mesa TA-15 into an oversize cab with a 12" Eminence Red Fang. Typically live on the clean, Vox inspired channel and use a variety of pedals on an ever changing board:

On my pedal board I have in order:
Berringer tuner (might upgrade this as it seems slow to respond at times)
Ibanez ts-10 modified (owned it since 1989. Use it as a lead boost)
ToneCity Golden Plexi (for £39 it’s crazy good)
MXR Phase 90 Custom shop
Boss CE-2 (bought used in 1989)
Cheap analog delay (looking to upgrade this)
TC Electric Arena
Boss RC3 looper

All that goes into a Marshall 5010 set to clean with just enough gain for slight break up if you hit the strings hard. EQ is set to higher mids and presence, bass around 3 treble about 5.

I keep thinking I should go back to a valve amp but then I think why bother? this rig sounds really good. I’m becoming much more of a convert to the belief of if it sounds good it is good.

I also have a Marshall AVT20 which only occasionally gets used and a Digitech GSP21 with the legend chip upgrade and that never gets used. Might sell these two as I don’t really use them.

I dug out my old Line 6 guitar port just wondering if I can get it to work with my Mac for quiet practice and home recording.

Since I last posted in this, my main rig has changed quite dramatically honestly.

I now play through the DIY plexi amp 90% of the time with a couple of pedals:
TC electronics Skysurfer reverb
TC eclectronics Alter Ego Delay

Front: Boss ns-2 noise suppression
MXR Phase 90 (modded)
Xotic EP booster
MXR badass overdrive '78

Depending on what I'm in the mood for, it's either set up like a JCM800 or an old plexi/fender running clean using the pedals for boost/gain.

It's been real fun rediscovering physical Tube amps!

I am the definition of tired
