the rest of the frets look fine and have round tops. was just double checking. this is a dream guitar for me as i am a die hard 80's guy.

I want to thank everyone for talking me into doing it myself. I have learned a lot and I have it finished on the setup side. Still need my jb to get in but I got the trem stopper and bridge leveled. Neck angle is perfect and it stays in tune during dives. It is setup for dive only.

I removed the neck shim completely. Lowered Floyd down to where it was barely off body and checked action was not fretting out or buzzing on 12-22. Checked neck relief to insure there was some and neck was not flat. Added trem stopper and leveled trem.

Plays like a dream now with low action and no buzzing or choking of strings

Just always slowly lever it out vertically, otherwise you can crack the finish around the pocket - the most common accident.
