Question.

Would anyone happen to know what type and style of direct mount pickup screws the EVH Wolfgang guitars use?

I purchased a used Fender EVH Special awhile ago and noticed that one of the pickups is missing a direct mount screw. Have been looking for a replacement but can not find the right style and or make..

Thanks in advance.

I'd just use any sort of standard screw that fits, as usual. Should be smaller than the holes in the pup bottom plate, so you don't destroy the threading (for later re-use elsewhere).

Alrighty, thanks! :thumbs

From what I have sleuthed online a #1 or # 2 with a Philips head will do the trick.

Cheers.

Couldn't you just remove one of the existing screws, take it to a hardware store and match it?

Yes that is the simple and sane way to go about it.

I was originally wanting to keep the missing part EVH stock specific, y'know just to be uber geeky about it all but its become more like looking for needle in haystack when it comes to matching that tiny pickup screw via online.

So yeah, stock screw is in hand and off to Home Depot I go.

Cheers.
