...I bought a pacer-ish body from guitar fetish hoping it would work with a pointy rounded focus neck.
As luck would have it the body is quite close dimensionally, but needs some router and rasp work to get it right.
Decided to give it a scoop ( slight )
The belly cut was just too shallow.....hey I'm a growing boy
Above the humbucker route needed some work. Below belly route filled and primed after rasping.

Before the finish can go on there are a few more things.
1) Neck pocket not back far enough, needs routed
2) top and bottom bridge route needs 3/16" routed towards neck
3) bottom trem spring route also needs material routed towards neck

This one is pretty fun and the body appears to be alder.

I don't usually find a use for this smiley :flipa , but I like so there you have it.

Looks good :thumbs

I'd try routing the bridge towards the pup instead of making the neck pocket bigger, if possible. You don't want the neck so deep within the body, makes playing those high positions harder.

Looks more like ash/swamp ash to me in that belly cut pic, but that may be the lighting. Nice timber anyway.
