Stupid toliet but hopefully Schaller will still make old-style saddles and lock blocks.

I can hear the crack pipes firing up already. Yet another reason to part-out old guitars.

Hopefully, if they're manufacturing them more efficiently, prices will come down.

Were they cast before?

Just got my new Lockmeister for the Jackson and it has these new saddles. The hole for the lock block is almost 1mm wider than the block itself. Works fine but you have to position the string in the middle and hold it tight when you lock it so it doesn't slip to the side.

Otherwise it works fine, these blocks will surely never get stuck once grime and rust build up. The blocks look the same bare the two front edges being slightly rounded to fit the rounded holes.

Prices are the same, I guess it makes little difference.
